The Presence of Conflict is a sequel to my first novel, The Presence of Justice. My protagonist, Andy Hanson, has graduated from West Point Military Academy, Ranger School, and Escape and Evasion School. The book starts as he is landing at his Forward Operating Base in Afghanistan, and ends when his tour is cut short because of injuries sustained in battle. The book goes back and forth between Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Arizona. It has most of your favorite characters from The Presence of Justice and many new characters from the war zone. The book is an action-packed fiction war Thriller suited for most audiences.
